Forget Skippy and Blinky Bill! Even Old Man Emu and that Kookaburra with his burning backside can no longer be called the National Icon. It is time we bring the real Aussie Icon to the world!

Let's Make Barry the Bin Chicken for the official mascot of the Brisbane Olympics in 2032.

Help "Not the National News with The Bad Boys" bring the beloved dumpster diver out of the back alleys and into the view of the world.

The Tokyo games have just finished and we have already forgotten what the mascot was. And don't even try to figure out what the London Olympics mascot was. it is time we shared with the world an iconic animal that has literally invaded Australia. No other animal is deserving of our attention. 

While every other Aussie animal is becoming extinct, The Bin Chicken is thriving. It is time to give it the recognition it deserves.
