Saturday November 21st will be Dr Kylie Moore-Gilbert's 800th day as a prisoner in Iran.
It is hard to imagine that length of time without having your freedom, without feeling the sun on your face, without the love and comfort of family and friends.
To mark this day an installation of 800 blue paper butterflies will be laid out on the lawns in front of St Paul's Cathedral, Melbourne on Saturday 21st November, between 9am and 4pm (AEST).
Each butterfly will bear a hand-written message of support for Dr Moore-Gilbert from friends, colleagues and supporters.
If you're in Melbourne on the 21st please walk past and view the installation and spare a thought for Dr Moore-Gilbert, but we would ask you to please bear Covid restrictions in mind and not gather at the site.
A number of speakers will be present between 10 - 11am (AEST) to help highlight Dr Moore-Gilbert's plight, but again due to Covid restrictions we would ask that you don't gather at the site.
Instead you can follow the speakers live on Facebook at the following link between 10 -11am (AEST) (23.00 GMT Friday 20th November)
