More than two million temporary visa holders studying, living and working in Australia are stuck in limbo due to this COVID-19 Lock-down and they are facing same hardships as Australian citizens and Permanent Residents.
This petition is for a fair go to International Students and Temporary Visa Holders amid the unfolding global COVID-19 crisis. This is to call on the Government of Australia and Australian universities to provide support to International students and temporary residents.

Due to financial crunch its hard for these people to get financial support from their home countries as the Banks and Businesses are also impacted by the current COVID-19 Lock-downs and individuals are facing hardship to pay their rents and to put food on the table. So the concerned are looking towards the Australian Government to help them by providing the following support:

1. International Students and temporary residents who are facing hard time please provide them access to CORONA VIRUS SUPPLEMENT AND CRISIS PAYMENTS

2. Education providers need to provide financial support to students impacted by COVID-19 and reduce Academic & Living expenses.

Their Australian citizen and permanent resident counterparts who are in similar situation are eligible for allowances from Centrelink
