To our country’s leaders, the undersigned everyday Australians call on you to grant Members of Parliament a conscience vote on the upcoming Parliamentary Motion to declare an Environment and Climate Emergency.  No issue could be more important, this effects every citizen of Australia. The seriousness of Climate Change and it’s implications for the future living conditions on this planet means that it transcends politics and so we urge you to allow Members of Parliament to follow their own hearts and minds in voting on this motion. We are nurses, doctors, physios, teachers, tradies, hospitality workers, lawyers, small business owners, farmers and everyone in between, and we are afraid for our future and that of our children. Please provide our democracy with the opportunity to work for the people by allowing a conscience vote on this most important issue.
