Petition updateBring Priya and her beautiful family back home to Biloela, Queensland12 month visas - but no closer to Biloela

Friends, I have good news and bad news. After promising to grant Priya, Nades and Kopika visas to stay in Australia until Christmas, today Immigration Minister Alex Hawke has gone one better and granted 12 month bridging visas to three members of our Biloela family.

But Minister Hawke is STILL withholding a bridging visa from four-year-old Tharni, stopping her whole family from coming home to Biloela.

Can you make an urgent but polite call to Minister Hawke’s team on 02 6277 7770 now?

Please thank Minister Hawke for taking this step and urge him to grant a visa to Tharni.

If you can’t get through, please tap here to call your government MP and ask them to pass on a message to Minister Hawke (even if you have called recently).

If your MP isn’t part of the government, tap here to call one of your government Senators.

Australian law gives Minister Hawke the power to bring this sorry saga to a close with the stroke of a pen.

Just like her sister Kopika, Tharnicaa was born in Queensland, and that’s where she and her family belong.

Experienced migration lawyers tell us they have never heard of a child being denied the same visa granted to other family members in this way.

Please make your polite call to Minister Hawke’s team on 02 6277 7770 now - or tap these links to call your government MP or government Senators.

We’re so close to getting this family safely #hometobilo, where they are welcome, wanted and needed - but we must act now.

With hope,

Angela
