So many kind people have already asked me how they can send gifts to little Kopi and Tharni - but there are only so many toys two little girls can use!

This Christmas, instead of sending presents, we would love you to make a donation to a local children’s charity of your choice, in honour of Kopi and Tharni. Please leave a comment letting us know about your donation - you might like to mention it in the card you send to your MP or Senator!

The truth is that the one gift Priya, Nades, Kopi and Tharni really need this Christmas is for Mr Morrison’s Ministers to allow them to come safely home to Biloela, where they are welcome, wanted and needed.

In June, your phone calls and e-mails helped get this much-loved family off Christmas Island. In September, you spoke up again, stopping Scott Morrison's Ministers forcing Priya, Nades and the girls from Australia to danger.

I truly believe it was your incredible support that prompted Immigration Minister Alex Hawke's last minute decision to grant Priya, Nades and Kopi 12 month temporary visas.

But by withholding a temporary visa from four-year-old Tharni, Minister Hawke is stopping her whole family coming safely home to Biloela.

Experienced migration lawyers say they have never heard of a child being denied the same visa granted to the rest of their family in this way.
