I’ve hardly slept. Priya, Nades and their QLD-born girls have just been forced thousands of kilometres away from Biloela to the Christmas Island detention centre. Please - I desperately need your help to show Prime Minister Morrison all of the love we have for this family.
I know how devastating this news will be for all of us who believe in love, kindness and a fair go. In the last few days, I have cried more tears than I ever thought possible. But right now, Priya and her family need all Australians of good heart to come together like never before.
The courts have ordered the politicans not to force this family from Australia before Wednesday. And that means there is still is hope.
On Sunday, please - join with Biloela and come to a peaceful vigil to show your love for Priya, Nades, Kopika and Tharunicaa:

I know that for Mr Morrison, Sunday is a day for prayer and praise - and sometimes for miracles.
It’s the same for many of us in Biloela. For eighteen months now, so many of us have been praying for the miracle our beautiful, kind, hard-working family desperately needs - the miracle of a politician with the courage and grace to bring this family home to Biloela.
Whatever your beliefs, this Sunday, I ask you to show the strength of your love by joining with Biloela in simple, peaceful silence. Let’s make space on this day to show our care and love for this family, for Biloela and for the soul of this beautiful country.
