This is amazing. Barnaby Joyce has gotten behind Biloela! He told reporters: “The people of Biloela seem to be pretty enthused about keeping this family there. I think we should also be listening to them.”
At 1pm today Queensland time, I’ll be joining my friends and neighbours in Biloela Lions Park for a peaceful vigil to show our support for Priya, Nades and their Biloela-born girls.
Like Nades, many Biloela men are strong, loving fathers. I am so grateful for all of the dads around Australia choosing to spend part of this special day to stick up for our mates.
Of course, all of these peaceful vigils are family-friendly and kids, mums, dads, grandmothers, grandfathers are all very welcome!
