We the undersigned are requesting a resumption in cruising within Australia. Domestic cruising needs to restart ASAP.

The Australian government must commit to a date to re-start cruising.

Australian vaccination targets have been reached to satisfy the resumption of international travel. Cruising should be included. 

As a country we have done a tremendous job playing by the rules and sacrificed a lot to get to this enviable position.

Cruiselines have developed strategies and implemented new health and safety protocols to ensure cruise ships are Covid-safe. 

The cruising industry contributes $5 billion annually to Australia. This petition is not only for cruising passengers, but for our farmers, travel agents, the crew, tour operators, and many others who have had their livelihoods decimated.

We ask Prime Minister Scott Morrison to consider our request with empathy and clarity, taking into consideration all the facts and the success stories of cruising resumptions all over the world.
