The ridiculous raise in Knox canteen prices is atrocious, jumping from 5.90 to 7.50 over the course of less than a year for the daily special, and not to mention the other food items. The school is taking advantage of the boys' hunger, forcing them to either buy the expensive food or starve. This is unacceptable, for we as students require more food. It is unreasonable that for simply a frozen meat pie that has still has ice shards in it when served to cost 5.50. This is just another way that the school is trying to take our money, already out of the extremely high schooling fees we have to pay. We need to take a step to make food more affordable for the students of Knox.
