Hello Everyone, Just wanted to let you know that Mrs. Husar and the teachers of the Palmerton High School have done a phenomenal job. The state test scores are in and the numbers are fantastic. In 2016 Palmerton ranks better than 71% of the high schools in PA. In 2015 we were only better than 41% In 2014 we were only better than 19% Test scores have gone from an average of 29% in 2014 to an average of 73% in 2016! And Superintendent Engler gave her a ZERO rating! Did you know the district spent $205,000 (I am sure understated) in legal costs over the past three years.* They can waste money on legal costs, but can not come to an agreement with our teachers. Note there is a board meeting on Oct. 18th.
