Chickens Are Not Birds.

The issue

I would like it to be globally recognised that the chicken is NOT a bird.

I do understand that at this moment the are considered such, but that will change.

I have compiled a list of reasons why chickens are not birds.

  • not all breeds have feathers. some have fur like appearances.
  • they lay edible eggs
  • they cannot fly
  • their meat is regularly eaten
  • they are hunted not just for sport
  • they look different to the generic birds
  • they are farmed

by definition a bird is "a warm-blooded egg-laying vertebrate animal distinguished by the possession of feathers, wings, a beak, and typically by being able to fly."

clearly the chicken does not fit this description. they are cold hearted demonic creatures, not by any means is their blood warm. they do lay eggs, but instead of the usual empty shell egg that you'd find most birds lay, they lay eggs with chicken embryo inside of it. as previously stated;not all chickens fit the description of under 'the possession of feathers'. especially the dead ones. when you buy a roast chicken from the market does it have feathers? no. why should we just turn a blind eye to that? just because they are dead doesn't make them non-chicken. and this idea that they can fly is again incorrect.

ALL OF THE FACTS SHOW YOU THEY ARE NOT BIRDS.

now I propose a question to you. when someone says draw a bird, what do you draw? I will tell you from the 75 people* I surveyed none of them drew a chicken.

I will leave you with a thought; if chickens are considered birds, why aren't we?

I hope you sign so together we can fight this discrimination.

STAND WITH ME IN THIS CHICKEN REVOLUTION.

*not all surveyed were real people and statistics are just a generalisation.
