Stop the abuse against Ace

Stop the abuse against Ace

Ace is big lovable baby who has been through more in 5 years than some go through in a lifetime. We rescued Ace in 2018 from an abusive situation. After being diagnosed with Lyme disease and going untreated we spent a lot of time and money at the vet to get him back to good health which resulted in multiple prescriptions. Unfortunate circumstances gave us no choice but to rehome him only until we could bring him home. Without my permission Ace was given to a person that my son thought he could trust to care for Ace. Recently we found out that person moved out of state and Ace was seen running loose with no food and no water in poor condition including covered in ticks and sores. In our attempt to finally have him home with his family members, I’m told it has to go to civil court. I have been in contact with the Schuyler County Sheriffs Department, Animal Control, New York State Troopers, the Humane Society of Schuyler County as well as Code enforcement. Everyone wants to pass the buck.
I am NOT one to ever ask for money or ask for help. This is my attempt to bring Ace home and get him the medical attention he needs after being mistreated. I have no idea what court fees will cost me but I intend to fight to bring our furbaby home where he belongs. Any donations would be greatly appreciated or even your support means so much.
