I think schools should allow fanfiction!  Now I understand not allowing NSFW also known as 18+ fanfiction.  I think schools should take the time to go through websites like AO3 (Archive of Our Own), Wattpad etc. And block all 18+ stories and allow stories like fluff, comfort, Children safe AU (alternate universe), etc. stories.  It might also be a a good idea to make it to were you cant make an account because then Students couldn't talk to random people and risk getting hurt.

 I understand how busy staff can be though so maybe make a club/group of trusted students to go through these stories on there own! This could work because Schools can go through every second of what these students do on there computers.  If that isn't enough then maybe a trusted parent such as a PTA member could supervise the students!  Fanfiction is a good way for me and others to escape and go into a world of your own.

       This can help students with anxiety, trauma, depression, stress and more to have time to escape and calm down and relax.  When it comes to fanfiction that is where we play the part of Y/N (your name/student name) it can help them feel loved by their favorite characters from shows and more which has always helped me get through my day.  This can really help students with a bad home life, ones who are bullied, rude teachers and more feel the love they never never got/do not have.  Fanfiction can also inspire students to write their own stories which can help them with reading, writing, creativity, and even art if they want to add pictures to their story!  I just think it could help students in so many ways and I think it should be allowed.
