Covid 19 ≠ more trash

It is crucial that we take all measures to fight the pandemic, but it is also crucial to stay focused on other matters that matter. Caring about our healthy bodies is parallel to caring about our own community.

Used disposable masks are piling up in the trash. Not only they are an eyesore when thrown on the streets, but they are also not more effective than reusable masks. Moreover, these masks tip the scale environmentally, economically, and health-wise.

Because of this, Ahliah School students in downtown Beirut, Lebanon pledge to depend on reusable masks to fight the virus, and to shy away from using disposable masks.
