As a pupil in secondary school, we as the people wearing uniforms don't get asked how WE actually think about it enough. so here I am, the voice that many pupils are not aloud. I would like to suggest major changes in the school uniform, whilst still making it look good, the first of which being scrapping the blazer and replacing it with a school branded zip up hoodie. My reasoning for this is school blazers are often made from bad materials, causing pupils to be uncomfortable and itchy,  another reason for this change is that school blazers don't provide sufficient insulation, so pupils are forced to wear this extra layer purely for show. Secondly I would swap out the traditional white bottom up shirt that most secondary schools use and replace it with a plain white t-shirt, this is due to the normal shirt that is used not providing enough comfort to pupils. Thirdly I would like to swap out the traditional tailored pants and replace them with giving the pupils freedom to wear any style of plain black pants they want as long as they are not super baggy or super skinny. This also applies to girls, but girls will have the option of wearing a plain black skirt. Finally I would like to swap out the traditional school shoes for being able to wear any type of black trainer, this applies to girls and boys.
