The date sheet was provided to the students on 26th January 2021.
The teacher has mentioned that exams will be held offline and being the parent of the student, I don't support the decision.
Since the practicals are something that can only be done with equipments, the school has still managed to take them online and that's a huge achievement! I appreciate the school and teachers for the same.
But final exams can be and should be conducted online as I am not willing to risk the probability of getting the infection for these exams. I know the condition for students having board exams but it is not at all required to take offline exams during this Pandemic session for classes 9th and 11th. Students from 1st - 8th grade are having online exams also. And it's not such that senior students are immune to the virus. Everyone is prone to it just like 1st - 8th grade students. But the school is taking their exams online, why not 9th and 11th?

The school should understand that this type of pandemic only occurs once in a 100 years and is not a joke. Also, if it is just meant to check the capability of a student then the students are willing to give oral exams as well! Teachers have been teaching online since the start of the session and they know if their students are actually studying or not. Some part of the exam can be conducted orally and some part in written form. That's not even an issue since the students sit with their cameras on and are clearly visible. School has made this possible for a whole year! What is the issue now?

In an exam hall, students are supposed  to sit on a desk for 3 hours with a bunch of students and a teacher. Each one of them has no idea where the other person might have travelled but still they sit there just for marks. The desks don't even get sanitised properly and not everyone maintains a proper hygiene as well as distance. Are marks really having a worth more than our children's lives?

Even after taking all the precautionary measures, there is still a chance that one person might be infected and that can be a threat to all the students, teachers as well as their families. I understand the helplessness of the school for taking board examinations offline since it is an order by the government. But where the school can take a step forward for the safety of their students, they should take it. 

I am not in favour of the decision for final exams being held offline and I won't send my ward to school for the same.
