Lacey BOE President, Frank Palino, is using his position to abuse his power politically and not listen to the voices of concerned parents and children of Lacey Township. We also feel “unsafe” attending these BOE meetings due to him threatening parents legally who attend “maskless” to voice questions and concerns regarding the safety of their children. President Frank Palino unethically pressed disorderly conduct charges on 4 individuals/parents who attended the board meeting without masks (even without looking into if they had medical exemptions) as well as our newly elected BOE member (that the people of Lacey voted for) with a more severe charge. We need to let Palino know that he works for THE PEOPLE OF LACEY, not the other way around. Other NJ townships have the option to “mask optional” BOE meetings or meetings that take place “off school premises” so everyone can breath freely and focus on their children’s education.
