The petition I started only Saturday night to urge our leaders to not reopen schools in South Carolina On May 1 has been steadily growing with close to 7000 signatures now!!. Since then, it was announced that a final decision will be made later this week. It seems likely that schools will remain closed, but it is not certain. There are many factors that enter into such a decision, and I don’t pretend to know them all, but I do know our voices should continue to be heard now more than ever!!!  There is nothing more important than our public health. Please help me get 10,000 plus signatures by Wednesday when I submit this petition to Governor McMaster and South Carolina Superintendent of Education Molly Spearman. Express your views on media groups, emails, messages. Call the governors office. Share the petition with your friends. There are no fees required and this not politics—-this is life!
