The US has had over 1300 school shootings since 1970 and the numbers are increasing. We need to address the mass school shootings and mental health issues in our communities. A most recent example: a 15 year old kid walks into a school with a gun and shoots 11 people and so far 4 kids died. This is for the safety of our kids in school and safety of others. Mass shooting are accruing more and more in the suburban area and no protocol or safety measurements are being taken. We as a community need to come together and urge the school board of education and our government to put in place such safety measurements to protect our children. We also need to encourage more mental health awareness, screenings, and resources. Please sign this petition in support of preventing situations such as the Oxford High School mass shooting from happening again. Enough is enough.
