This extension replaces the birth-name of a transgender student with their correct name on their device. The reason this is important is that many transgender students do not want people to see their birth-name. If they do, they may call the transgender student their birth-name. This can negatively harm their mental health. For example, I am a transman and my birth-name has a lot of trauma behind it and I get extremely upset every time it is said or seen. It really hurts. I have asked school staff to unblock it, but have had no luck yet. This is the only way I can get school staff to listen and save my mental health.
