Our teacher Mr.Baker had gotten fired last night. The reason for this is a simple email that had took off into something bigger then it was and it is the administrations fault. All because a simple question he had in an email that no one should be “offended” about. A simple question about the results of a grant that a lot of teachers apply for and someone decide to somehow find it “offensive.” Mr. Baker had talked to the students not only to warn them but to joke about it. Then he got in trouble again. Just for talking about it he got fired. All of the students in Franklin Community High School have loved Baker since the first year he taught here and we are devastated. We can’t believe that something so simple can lead to such a heartbreak for all of his students. Mr. Baker is such a caring teacher who’s truly interested in his students and their well beings and have helped so many students with problems they’ve had and any/all the students who have had him can attest and agree to how wholesome of a person and teacher he is. We want to petition for him to teach not only for the end of this year but all the years to come!
