The city of Ferndale has passed a resolution urging residents and businesses not to use anti-coagulant rodenticide (aka rat poison). This is a very inhumane way to kill rodents as they suffer greatly during the poisoning also this type of poison does not discriminate, anything that ingests a poisoned rodent like a cat, dog, owl, the hawk will die or be severely ill from the poison. We are asking that our favorite local hardware stores Scheer’s Ace Hardware and Tony's Ace Hardware help in our effort and voluntarily stop selling rat poison.
