Thank you for signing this petition and supporting the cause of Gender-Sensitization.

Two days ago, I had the good fortune of meeting with Dr. Sultan Ismail, Managing Director, Ecoscience Research Foundation, Chennai. Dr. Ismail is a leading soil biologist and ecologist. During the course of our conversation, Dr. Ismail mentioned he was closely involved with the committee that is revamping the SCERT Textbooks. When I told him about this petition, he immediately agreed to look into it for further action. As promised, he forwarded my email to the Director of the Tamil Nadu SCERT, Mr. Arivoli G., who has assured that this will be sorted out. Please see the image of the mail chain.  

Here's hoping the change will be effected, and that students will have access to quality content in their textbooks.
