Hello everyone! I got in touch with someone at SC Governor Henry McMaster's office on Monday 09/12/2022. He called because I told US Senator Tim Scott’s office I am getting the run-around and several of my elected officials are not responding to me (their constituent). I asked if my contact at US Senator Tim Scott's office could put me in touch with a real person, my contact did just that. I must give my contact a HUGE shout out for their tremendous help on this! Thank you!

SC Governor Henry McMaster's contact followed up the phone call with an email the same day. Excellent! I responded the next day, and set him several letters showing what we (you and I) have been doing for the last year. Most of the letters were items I had when I partnered up with my counterpart in the Upstate area (northern South Carolina). My counterpart and I were talking to the US Congressman's Senior Advisor up in that area. My counterpart and I thank this office tremendously for what they have done. The next part of this journey is seeking help from state-level officials. And, we (you and I) are doing just that. Additionally, if you want to call your local lawmaker(s) and tell them about this mental health effort. Please do it and, direct the lawmaker(s) back to this petition as documentation. September is Suicide Prevention Month.

Please keep me, the petition, the lawmakers (Federal and State), SCDHHS aka SC Medicaid, SC Medicaid clients/patients, Beaufort County and surrounding areas in prayer.
