Hello everyone! I have exciting news. I contacted the South Carolina Counseling Association (SCCA) and asked how I could get involved with their advocacy department. Well, the SCCA President wrote back and said his organization was working on a petition too against SCDHHS aka SC Medicaid. This was exciting news for me and you because we already have this petition on Change.org, and have gathered 545 signatures in a year. I gave my contact at SCCA the link to our petition and asked if she could join forces with us (you and me) as we all face SCDHHS aka SC Medicaid together. Teamwork makes the dream work!

According to my contact at SCCA, she is 500 therapists strong! That is 1,045 people joining together to say there is a huge problem with SCDHHS aka SC Medicaid. I will keep you all posted on what this larger organization can do with our support.

I want to continue to thank all of you for your tremendous support. And a huge shout out to the lawmakers that have been contacted and working wearily to get our voices heard.
