It has come to concern that some female boarding schools in Zambia are not allowing people to braid their hair regardless of them not having any reasonable effect on child education 

Teachers are fond of complaining about student appearance yet they are the first ones ignoring the answers and solutions to the situation.

Braiding hair does not affect ones education, it even promotes self confidence and neatness. Most all girls boarding schools restrict people to braid their hair which makes female students have a hard time in combing their hair or deciding what to do with their hair in order to look presentable.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with braiding hair at school, if they are worried about uniformity the schools should atleast set one or two styles for the girls instead of forcing them to only comb their hair and plait mukule.

For a happier learning experience we would like to start braiding our hair.
