VDOT’s proposed “improvements” would block all left turns fro Rt 29 onto Vint Hill Road coming from the north-east (Gainesville). Cars would have to pass the current intersection by 1/4 mile or so, then make a U-turn to come back and make a right turn onto Vint Hill Road. And, they would prohibit left turns from Vint Hill Road, Riley Road, and Broad Run Church Road onto Rt 29 heading toward Warrenton. In each case, cars and trucks would need to make a right turn onto Rt 29 then travel a ways before making a U-turn.

These changes would make it more difficult for individuals coming to CrossFit Vint Hill and Vint Hill destinations, even residents homes. It will inconvenience not only our members but those living and visiting VH going to and from gainesville/Haymarket and destinations east of VH Road.  Please help us in speaking out against these proposed changes and help keep the Rt. 29 and Vint Hill Road intersection as-is.
