Yesterday the BMC announced that after 70 years they were changing their name to Climb Britain.

As a member of the BMC I do not feel that this rebrand is fitting for the organisation. It does not reflect the history of the BMC or its work. Many members who are non-climbers have already taken to social media to complain that instead of being inclusive the new name actually excludes them.
