The Santa Monica Fire Marshall called this morning with an update.

He informed us that in response to the outrage over Darwin's preventable death, The Beach Club is changing the address they use on the permit to that of a tennis court which borders the Santa Monica city line.  This does not change the fireworks show whatsoever, just another method of circumventing the law and finding another work around.  All Beach Club physical structures are in the City of Santa Monica.  The fireworks are launched in and over Santa Monica Beaches.
