Public schools are the best opportunity for students in Alabama to succeed. Certified personnel are required to work in teaching the standards as set by The State of Alabama. 
Schools currently have overcrowded classrooms, aging buildings, and employees that have given their hearts and sound through the last two years of the pandemic. Taking more money away from public schools will be devastating to the future of public education. 
Charter schools have less accountability, they don’t have to take all students, and many are for profit.
