❌ Say NO To Rezoning on VI Ranch Road

The Issue

■ Petition Against Rezoning on VI Ranch Road

We, the undersigned residents and property owners of VI Ranch Road, Springdale Road, Henson Road, Cold

Springs Road, and the surrounding community in Sullivan County, Tennessee, strongly oppose the rezoning of

the former church property at the entrance of VI Ranch Road from A-1 Agricultural to B-3 General Business.

Reasons for Opposition:

– ■ The entrance at VI Ranch Road and Bristol Caverns Highway is already dangerous. Limited sight from the

hill makes turning unsafe, and additional traffic will worsen this hazard.

– ■ Rezoning would lower property values.

– ■ It would destroy the quiet, rural, agricultural character of our community.

– ■■ It sets a precedent for further commercial development in our residential area.

– ■ The property owner has not provided a business plan, meaning approval would be “blind.”

We respectfully urge the Sullivan County Planning Commission and Sullivan County Commission to deny the rezoning request and preserve the safety, character, and value of our community
