Enfield Labour run Council are proposing a CPZ on street car parking permit charge on many roads in Ponders End Alma Estate area. 

Many households are concerned that if the scheme goes ahead it could cost some households £ hundreds of pounds per year.

Proposed costs per year;
Engine Size -
1000cc or less + EVs £77, 1001cc to 1600cc £155, 1601cc to 1999cc £230, >2000cc £395.

So a household with three car owners parking their 1.1l, 1.7l and 2l cars on the street would pay in total £780 per year. (Labour recently hiked CPZ charges the old cost would have been £495).
