Dear Supporters,
Millions of pigs have been slaughtered to date.
Why?
Swine flu and delta virus.
Yet millions of people around the world still eat pork. It is puzzling to say the least to realize how critical this information is to the public and environmentalists. But why are governments and the media making this issue insignificant? Why is there no urgency about the need to stop eating pork when there is so much data to support ending its consumption? Why not focus on providing strategies to replace the supply chain of this red meat?
In 2015, a record 109 million metric tons of pork were consumed worldwide. That’s a mind blowing amount of unhealthy food the public is ravenously taking. Thirteen per cent world's popluation is obese (36% per cent in the United States). Obesity has reached an epidemic proportion globally with 2.8 million people dying each year as a result. Once associated with high-income countries, obesity is now also prevalent in low- and middle-income countries.
According to the World Health Organization, governments, international partners, civil society, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector all have vital roles to play in contributing to obesity prevention. Yet so little is being done about pork consumption. The world recognized smoking as an unhealthy substance to the human body and took action. But something worse like pork? They barely regulate the industry. Our government also would rather inject you with temporary solutions like vaccines than stop the dangers associated with eating pork.
Here are a few articles that can bring you some more insights on the health factors:

Bottom line is with this new Delta variant and the continuous threat of COVID-19, you can bet that we are going to be pushed to figure out a way to just live with it.
I say emphatically, "Heck NO!"
We need our government to raise the bar and be a catalyst once again to stop this madness. We need to ask for a complete lifestyle change for meat lovers and what is happening with pork production. Pigs are meant to clean the environment, and not for us to inhale their flesh. It is time to get the word out and take an action and spread the word about how unhealthy pork is and let’s reach our goal of 10,000 signature so our voices can be heard.
Say no to poison. Say no to pork.
Thank you so much for your continued support! Will you help us to get more support by sharing this petition with ten other people? If enough of us sign we can’t be ignored! Here’s a link to share with all updates https://www.change.org/p/say-no-to-poison-say-no-to-pork
You can make a difference!
