Hi all,

How concerned are you about the new COVID-19 Variant, Delta?

How much are you informed about pig viruses and influenza jumping from animal to human?

We have been alerted about avoiding pork for centuries. The consumption of pork is unhealthy, despite whether it is frozen, cooked, or managed with regulations. There are a lot of facts we should be concerned about healthwise and its impact on our environment. Pigs are supposed to handle the waste of the earth and it was never intended to be a food source.

Can you even begin to imagine the level of bacteria in every bite you take with pork? It is truly, and literary, injecting poison to your body.

More than 7 million bacterias live in the pig’s guts. Antibiotics used in pig farms are widespread, but bacterias are more resistant to it and are becoming ineffective. We have been warned about this over and over again but it is time for real action. If we want vaccines to kill the viruses, we need to eradicate the source.

It all started with the swine flu as pigs serve as a reservoir of H1N1 and H3N2 influenza viruses. It is known in various studies that pork has been a contender for the role of intermediate host for reassortment of influenza A viruses of avian and human origin since it is the only domesticated mammalian species which is reared in abundance and is susceptible to, and allows productive replication, of avian and human influenza viruses. This can lead to the generation of new strains of influenza, some of which may be transmitted to other species including humans.

Adaptation of a "newly" transmitted influenza virus to pigs can take many years. Both human H3N2 and avian H1N1 were detected in pigs many years before they acquired the ability to spread rapidly and become associated with "disease epidemics."

Pork is poison! It is a simple fact. Now it is time to spread awareness that pigs should not be eaten. A consumption strategy must be implemented toward our supply chain and eating habits. It is the most conscious decision that leaders can make for a healthier society.
