Say NO to Morrisons selling cheap alcohol & killing local business in Forest Hill

Let's stop Morrisons selling more cheap liqour on our high street!
Morrisons is planning to take over the premises currently occupied by M&Co at no. 10/12 London Road in Forest Hill, and they have applied for a premises (alcohol) license to support these plans.
As local residents, traders and interest groups, we aren't happy about this development.
We can oppose this application formally from a public nuisance perspective, given that the license would see Morrisons selling alcohol on London Road from 6am to midnight seven days a week. This would be a worrying development on a street where excess alcohol consumption already leaves its mark. There is no need for yet another retailer selling alcohol on this street at bargain prices, given that there is a major supermarket and local traders doing so already - the market's oversubscribed as it is and we would rather see this prime retail space being used to provide more variety on our high street.
We have until 7 August to lodge objections with the council - sign today to add your voice to the opposition!
