This message is for the small business owners.  If you are not a small business owner but know someone that is, please share this information with them.  The U.S Small Business Administration has implemented a new plan to assist borrowers that are in need of repayment modifications to their COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL).  If the borrower's loan is current, currently delinquent, charged off, or has been referred to the Department of Treasury, help is available.

It is important that the borrower log into the MY SBA Loan Portal https://lending.sba.gov/) to complete the hardship accomodation plan.

This plan is available to all EIDL Borrowers regardless of the loan amount and was put into place within the past 48 hours.  If you have previously requested help due to being deliquent and was advised that you had to bring the loan current to request a payment plan, the protocol has changed.
