Today I attended the Dallas/Ft.Worth TDLR Informational Summit and I must say that the turn out was successful and the information provided was very informative. If you have attended any of the meetings then give yourself a round of applause! During the meeting, TDLR continued to use the reference "when momma and daddy tells us to do something, we have to do it"! If you didn't know who TDLR's parents are, they are the maojrity vote! "Momma and daddy" are your Texas Legislators! It is not TDLR who decides the fate of the Barber and Cosmetology Industry.

My duty as this petition author is to fight for the livelihood of our license and to protect the consumers that we service. The Texas Barber and Cosmetology licenses must be treated as one unit and we can not afford to continue to pick and choose what entitiy of the license we want to support. We must learn to unlearn the thought process of "it's not my area of expertise so it doesn't concern me" because IT DOES! I am here to serve as a trumpeter by providing you with the facts in hopes of working with others to organize a "UNITED FRONT"!
