Greetings,

During the 2019 Texas legislative session, Dr. Shami Farouk and Farouk Systems publicly stated the views and concens regarding the legislative attack against Texas Cosmetology licensing.  He stood stood firmly with industry professionals.

The 2020 vision was clear and behind the scenes work began for the Texas barber and cosmetology industry with the assistance of Dr. Farouk Shami and Farouk Systems.  In January, Allied Barber and Beauty Association of Texas, (ABBA of Texas) was created for the support of Texas licensed Barber and Cosmetology Professionals.
