What kind of relay are they running?

There has been no action on HB 1705, HB 2444, SB 1507, and HB 2843 which are yo reduce the Cosmetology hours but we must continue to monitor these bills.  However, there is bill 2847 which speaks of reducing the Cosmetology hours from 1500 hours to 1000 hours.  Please review here:

Our legislators have passed the baton on to another bill and we must stand against the legislative tricks and win this battle.

Per David Anderson, the lobbyist that is assisting us in this fight, the next step for HB 2847 will be the full Senate. Our immediate attention must be phone calls to all 31 senators. Please get everyone in your cosmetology world, including clients, to make the calls to their senator first, then call any other senator to deliver the message. After making the call, each person should send an email to the senator as well.

Each call should be made twice, once to the senator’s Capitol office and once to the senator’s district office.

The message is simple: Remove the Nelson amendment that reduces cosmetology licensing hours from 1500 to 1000 from HB 2847.
