Carriers and drivers are being backed into a corner — by brokers, platforms, and tech that was supposed to make things easier.

Now they’re saying:

“Integrate your ELD or no loads.”

“Give up your privacy or get left behind.”

“Let us track you 24/7 — it’s for ‘efficiency.’

”But let’s be clear:

This isn’t safety. This is surveillance.

And the people keeping this country moving — the independent drivers, the small carriers — are being punished for protecting their freedom.

We follow the rules. We drive the miles. We hold up the economy.

But now we’re being told:

“You can’t haul unless you hand over your data.”

That’s not a partnership. That’s a threat.

This is bigger than one broker or one platform. It’s a systemic squeeze — and we’re calling it what it is: coercion.

We’re not anti-tech. We’re anti-abuse.

And we’re not going to sit quietly while small carriers are pushed out of the industry they helped build.

That’s why we launched the petition:

Protect Truckers’ Privacy – Stop Forced ELD Integration

And that’s why we’re calling on FMCSA, the Department of Transportation, and every shipper and broker out there:

Respect our rights. Respect our limits. Respect our data.

This is Driver Privacy Week, and the fight starts here.

We don’t work for your systems. Your systems should work for us
