Mayor Ed Pawloski and City Council are attempting to takeover the downtown merchant/resident district of Hamilton Mall in Allentown, Pennsylvania by means of Eminent Domain. 

Eminent Domain is used by government to take land, when necessary, for the greater good of the area. But this is not true in this case. They merely want to uproot long time merchants,residents, and customers who have invested in Allentown to bring in a 80-100 million hockey arena. 

A hockey arena project here will destroy a thriving minority business district , and there are other more suitable locations available to consider. Ask the City Of Allentown to cease and disist any further action to take over the 700 block of Hamilton Street.
