Dominion Energy’s proposed Nokesville-Bristow 230-kilovolt (kV) Electric Transmission Line project, also known as Route 5 or the Blue Line. The implementation of this project will devastate Braemar community’s open spaces, including the Braemar Nature Trail, county-owned parkland, and Homeowners Association (HOA) owned and protected open space in Braemar.

Additionally, the power lines would be around 130 feet tall, diminishing views and property values. They have been linked to health risks, such as leukemia and infertility, especially in children. Help us speak up for our community and say NO to the blue line!
