Dear fellow ocean-lovers and concerned citizens,

A quick note from Nice, France where the UN Ocean Conference is underway.

Thanks to our collective - and growing - voices, four new countries have joined the call for a moratorium on deep-sea mining! These countries are Slovenia, Cyprus, Latvia and the Marshall Islands, bringing the total to 37!

As the growing chorus of concern for the ocean gets louder, those in power begin to listen. The High Seas are our shared heritage, they belong to each and every one of us, and all living beings, not to a handful of greedy companies and countries.

Don't give up now, keep sharing this petition and help us get even louder this week!

👉🏽  Help us deliver the next victory. Support our work with anything you can spare! (clicking on take the next step does not support our work, only clicking here will).

Thank you from Nice - Farah Obaidullah, Ocean Advocate, Founder of The Ocean and Us, Women4Oceans and editor of the book The Ocean and Us 💙 🌏 🕊️
