Mast installation works scheduled for 10 August

EE have obtained a traffic order from 10 August to 14 August to close Lower Road, so they can put up their planned telecommunications mast. It will involve a traffic diversion routing Lower Road traffic along Stonebridge Way.  As local councillors we remain deeply unhappy about their plans and are writing to relevant agencies expressing our concerns about the lack of consultation undertaken. We have also written to EE to complain about the evening work they did as part of putting in foundations last week and the inconvenience caused to residents by their failure to liaise with Royal Mail over the suspension of mail collections.
