Say No to 141 houses between Hanbury Road & Brickhouse Lane
The Issue

- Housing estate of 141 houses would be built on unspoilt Green Belt land; despite the Council having previously assessed the site and determined not to take it forward through the Local Plan process.
- Increase of traffic on Hanbury Road which is already very busy
- Road safety because Brickhouse Lane is a narrow cul-de-sac whose residents depend upon one junction with Hanbury Road. The adjoining commercial agricultural store already regularly generates potentially dangerous movements by HGVs, delivery vehicles and agricultural traffic.
- The development exceeds 100 dwellings, the proposal should not be determined without appropriate consultation with Natural England. Varied wildlife all live and feed in this area.
- The pressure on local services is already unsustainable. An additional 141 households would increase demand for school places, GP appointments, drainage and other services.
- It is for the many reasons the Council should to refuse planning 26/00885/FUL.
