Oil palm farms are man-made in Indonesia. Many orangutans die because of production of oil palm. They can't eat the fruit that contains the oil, the trees aren't habitable for them, it clears out land and trees they do live in, and orangutans need a lot of space! If we minimalize that we kill orangutans. we need these animals, too. Orangutans keep the termite population under control. Every animal has a purpose in life and right now I'm working to save orangutan's purpose. Oil palm is also in almost everything. From shampoo to Oreos, to coca cola and cosmetics. Plenty other things, as well. That consists of ice cream, candles, skin moisturizers and lotions, pizza dough, detergent, instant noodles, lipstick, etc,. Oil palm production doesn't need to end, though, because it takes one of the smallest amounts of space to create one ton, but it still kills many orangutans. Regulating it to where orangutans can still live and thrive but to where we can still have oil palm is a great option!  We can use other options than monocropping, like diversified, sustainable or prairie strips, customary and forest farming! This helps crops grow healthy and is better for the land. Restricting many areas to reserve space for orangutans is helping as well. If we continue to keep orangutans alive and regulate the deaths each year, orangutans won't be endangered anymore! Spread the word to your community! Full of animals and life, different species and ecosystems all working together to survive and create a healthy place to live. millions of insects and trees growing and thriving like everything else- that's a rainforest you'd want to imagine, right? Lately it hasn't been like that. As humans, we have created so many industries that kill animals for our own personal pleasures, and that needs to stop. To help stop this, you can save orangutans. This adds back to the ecosystems we have destroyed and helps it live again, Which is why sustainable palm oil is much better than unnecessary and unsustainable palm oil, which is the main fuel to kill orangutans. The Borneo Rainforest needs our help because it is on the verge of collapsing. Things you can do is make sustainable shopping choices, make small changes to your daily routine of palm oil use if you use it for cooking or anything else, and much more! Be aware of what is harmful to our planet, little changes now will make a big difference later. That's only if we work for it together, though.
