Although the final decision is not set in stone, both options currently on the table allow for the re-entry of the Hubble Space Telescope, where it will burn up in the atmosphere. After the billions of dollars invested and the incredible expansion on knowledge - from the furthest reaches of space to the deepest parts inside us - the Hubble Space Telescope has given us, not to mention the thousands of individuals who spent their whole lives making it a reality, this is an unacceptable end for the iconic Hubble.  If one end of life option includes the capture of Hubble to install a device for controlled re-entry, why instead can it not be captured to be brought home safely, to be upgraded and one day set free again in orbit? 

Let's show NASA that Hubble is more than a mere Telescope - it is a part of our story - and deserves more than to be turned to ash in the atmosphere.
