We are the students of #Modul University Vienna studying at the Dubai campus which was opened in 2016. 

After 3 years, #Modul University Vienna decided to "cancel the affiliation" with the Dubai campus without thinking of the negative consequences for students in Dubai.

#Modul University Vienna told us that the Dubai professors have done academic mistakes which turned out to be not true and this was proven by the expert of Dubai court. Suddenly, MBA students from Dubai, started receiving their diplomas after 8 months post graduation by DHL. However, other students namely the bachelor students did not receive their diplomas till today. These students are forced to sign new study contracts with new financial and unclear legal terms directly with #MU Vienna (AFTER THE GRADUATION) in order to get their diplomas.  

This is unfair and a total #abuse and #discrimination of students, because none of the MBA students who graduated at the same time had to sign the new study contracts. Besides, this was never agreed on the time of admissions and it is not right to impose any condition specifically 8 months after graduation. #Modul University Vienna have guaranteed the rights of all Dubai based students to be treated fairly and equally to Vienna based students and receive diplomas after graduation at the Dubai campus. 

Moreover, #Modul University Vienna is now forcing ALL students at Dubai campus to sign new study contracts which means we have to pay higher tuition fees to complete our studies in one of the two ways: either transfer to Vienna or study online! They told us that #AQ Austria has cancelled the accreditation of Dubai campus and so we cannot complete our studies in Dubai. This is not true since AQ Austria extended the accreditation till 2023 to allow us to complete our studies in Dubai. 

These actions of #Modul University Vienna are unacceptable as some of us are already finishing our thesis and others are in the middle of their studies working with the professors for years. How do you even expect students to stop their lives and transfer to Vienna?? We have jobs in Dubai and our families live here. We did not join #Modul University Vienna to study online. You don't even have an online education system and no accreditation to make this possible. 

We the Dubai students and graduates of #Modul University Vienna demand the management in Vienna to STOP discriminating us and stand up for what they have guaranteed us. We do not care about your commercial interests and legal fights with the management in Dubai and do not want to the victims of this. STOP sending us wrong and confusing letters and emails. No one here in Dubai wants to transfer to Vienna or study online and moreover pay you additional fees that are not agreed. Instead, come to Dubai and talk to us here and clean up the mess YOU created in the first place. 

Now we are calling upon all our friends and peers in Vienna and Nanjing and worldwide, as well as professors and all the people who care about education to support us by spreading awareness against unfairness and discrimination of students.
