We are kindly asking anyone who has ever had a connection with or been a part of the studio/ project space community at Zona Mista (FKA Westminster Waste) to sign our petition to show the size of our community. Our building of 20+ artists has been handed a 7 day eviction notice by our landlord after 10 years of operation. Our new contract was a 60% rent increase from the last and we were lead to believe we were in negotiations, however, out of the blue we were told we had to vacate the property and all of its contents within 7 days, in a callus twist on the part of the landlord - taking advantage of the legal grey area between contracts. 

Have you ever took part? Had a studio? Came to an opening? Visited the space or it's studios? 

Please let us know and sign the petition so we can show on paper the cultural significance of the building and help us to reach the most amicable solution possible. We already have the attention of the deputy Mayor of London and our best chance for a smooth transition for us and our livelihoods is appealing to their better nature and demonstrating the support of our community.
